A fun run is a stress free, athletic event for participants at any level, on a road or country-side. It can be enjoyed with family, friends, and competitors of all ages.

Costumes, music, and photo ops support the fun, party-theme. MCRC fun runs are organized to raise funds for a community events and activities, and often have sponsors to help cover fees of organizational costs. 

The typical fun run is quite different from your classic road race. Distances may vary but MCRC Fun Runs range from 1-mile, 1.7-mile, and 5k depending on the course and event. It not considered a race, however experienced runners can certainly challenge their time and speed on the course.

Start at 3rd Street and Simpson at Summit Pacific and head West along Simpson to 7th Street (OCCU)

Left on 7th Street (South) to Fir Street

Around the Beehive Retirement and Assisted Living Center

Left on Fir Street to 6th Street

Left on 6th Street to Maple.

Right on Maple to 5th Street

Right on 5th Street (gentle upgrade)

 to Oak Street

Left on Oak Street to 4th Street

Right on 4th Street to Hemlock Street

Left on Hemlock Street to 3rd Street

Left on 3rd Street Down to Summit Pacific Medical Center

Finish Line will be marked with balloons in the registration area to Summit Pacific Medical Center
