Country Bear Fun Run

If you like our Jingle Bear Trot, you'll like our Country Bear Fun Run! As part of the Bear Festival activities, the McCleary Civic Renewal Council is hosting a 1.25-mile or 5K ish run, trot, and walk through the city of McCleary, and all activity levels are welcome.
Costumes are encouraged, and prizes will be awarded!
Packet pickup opens at 8:00 a.m. and the fun run begins at 9:00 a.m.

Costs:
Participants age 5 and younger: FREE
Participants age 6 and over: $5.00 per person
What is a Fun Run?
A fun run is a stress free, athletic event for participants at any level, on a road or country-side. It can be enjoyed with family, friends, and competitors of all ages.
HAVE FUN!
Costumes, music, and photo ops support the fun, party-theme. MCRC fun runs are organized to raise funds for a community events and activities, and often have sponsors to help cover fees of organizational costs.
The typical fun run is quite different from your classic road race. Distances may vary but MCRC Fun Runs range from 1-mile, 1.7-mile, and 5k depending on the course and event. It not considered a race, however experienced runners can certainly challenge their time and speed on the course.
